Hands That Help
Hands that Help is a non-profit organization that assists in helping the homeless and provides a “Hand Up” to their future independence. We provide them a place to stay with utilities paid for, food, furnishings for their home, and counseling.
It Began With A Vision to be an organization in 2019, HTH as a Not For Profit - was founded to keep horses active in the Community, & to help break the cycle of homelessness in Jefferson County. In the first year alone HTH housed 15, helped with some food, furnishings, utilities, and took them under our wings. They start in our program and must prove to be not dependent on drugs or alcohol. Horses at Rocking J have ministered to the soul of mankind, aiding in confidence, and emotional healing for decades. RJR has made generations of meaningful memories and built goal setting youth. Horses cause us to refocus, and get out and move more and enhance overall Health. The owners at Rocking J wanted to keep their horses active in ministry because they have always brought healing, serenity and joy. All the funds that are donated will, in turn, house homeless, & minister to poor and recovering souls in our Hand Up Program.
HTH believes in A Pay it Forward Concept: you need something, offer to help with what you can do for someone else. It keeps everyone blessed. If you would like to give back while engaging in the lives of other witha donation of Finances , Time , and we always need Appliances, Mobil homes, Cabins, land donations for Homeless settlements, along with plumbers, electricians, carpenters, grass cutters, delivery help.
